Wow how time flies......

This month has kept me busy. All the people in and out, the classes in the studio space, and changing around some things in the shop. Right around the 4th was so much fun with all the people that stopped in as they passed through on their travels. One group was a pair of sister-in-laws that were an absolute riot heading back and forth between St. Louis and Florida. They seemed to have so much fun with each other and let me tell you there was a lot of ribbing going on!! One stopped back in on the return trip to get more since they'd had so much fun with all the stuff while on their trip!!

The classes have been an absolute blast with Heidi Miracle-McMahill's Needlefelting and Monoprinting classes.....both of which are back on the schedule for in the fall. You can check out to see what days they are on. Also a group has started up as they work with the book "In This House" by Angela Cartwright. They are meeting again on Wednesday July 23rd at 10:30. Feel free to join them as they make "houses". It is simply a day to have fun and you can find out more info on the same class link above.

Moving stuff around: We have added more items to clearance and are hoping that they find new homes so that we may get in lots of new fun things. We have a few ideas up our sleeves of some new and different items to carry and are positive you guys want to see them. So first things first is to find adoptive homes for the items we are no longer going to carry!!! So stop on by or check out the clearance section on to see what is on sale.

Have a good day.

We didn't fall off the face of the earth......

I just saw how long it had been since I posted an entry!! I swear we didn't fall off the face of the earth......well okay maybe a little. Things are plugging right along here this summer. New books, patterns, and charms just arrived in. The books can be found online already and the sale of the week is actually 15% off of all books!! This includes all knitting and quilting books. Simply go to and look around to see what's there. As for the charms they are new Artgirlz ones that I need to still get out on the website. Maybe I'll get to that this afternoon!!

As for's what I just finished.

I made a journal cover for my cousin Tegan who just had her tonsils removed. This is a watercolor paper journal. My mom got watersoluble crayons and the brushes that hold water as well. So she'll get this a little later today or tomorrow. Hopefully she'll like painting in it. The cover can then be removed and put onto a new journal when she fills this one.

That's all I have for today. Now on to the next project.....will try and post that one soon.
