Here are some photos of the most recent t-shirt quilt completed. I'm really pleased with the colors and how this turned out. Not the best lighting for taking pics but it's all the time I had.
I like doing them two-sided so that way the person can have more shirts included and it can change up depending on the mood of the person.

Chicago Make It University Schedule
The schedule of Make It University classes just came out. If you are planning on attending IQF Chicago April 15-18 check out the MIU section. We are teaching 5 of the hour long projects. You will put your name in a lottery for the classes you want and if you are called you pay $10. This gets you everything you need to complete the project. Here are the projects:
Mixed Media Needlecase by Kristin Rodriguez
Taught: April 15 from 6-7P
April 18 from 1:30-2:30P
You will use fabric, papers, and fusible web to create a one-of-a-kind needlecase.
What's In Your Closet by Kristin Rodriguez
Taught April 16 3-4P
You will have various laces and papers to create a mixed media canvas.
Lutradur Postcard by Janelle Girod
Taught: April 16 from 6-7P
You will use handpainted lutradur/batting to create a postcard. Then learn several embroidery stitches to further embellish it.

You will learn how to take a domino and attach pictures and other items to create a unique necklace. This pic shows a Santa but there will be a variety of pictures offered.
